Trinity Lutheran in Winner and Zion Lutheran in Colome are excited to offer the families of our communities a Vacation Bible School. Our nightly schedule will be as follows:

5:30–6:00: Supper
6:00–6:15: Opening Devotion and Song
6:15–6:45: Bible Lesson
6:45–7:15: Craft or Game
7:20–7:30: Songs and Closing Prayer

The devotions will be led by Pastor Nathan Biebert, Pastor Don Windsperger, and pastoral assistant Nate Rooney. The lessons will be taught by:

Ages 3–K: Amanda Soesbe
Grades 1–2: Katie Biebert
Grades 3–4: Pastor and Laura Windsperger, Nate Rooney
Grades 5–6: Chuck Keiser and Jonathan Schlomer

We will explore Bible accounts and stories that feature food and eating—Jesus feeding more than five thousand, God feeding the Israelites with special bread from heaven (manna), the Israelites worshipping a golden calf, and Jesus feeding his disciples a shore breakfast after his resurrection. These stories will remind us that God provides for the needs of our body and also gives us his word as the best food, for our souls. Parents are welcome to stay and visit with other parents, staff, and helpers, if they wish.

Pre-registration is not necessary, but is appreciated, so that our teachers and leaders have an idea of how many students they will have and how many lessons to print, crafts to prepare, etc. You can register by calling the church or by using our Contact form.
